Student’s Comments
“I was fortunate to stumble across Kagan Cooperative Learning whilst on placement
in my second year. I immediately saw how these methods could help me to be a more
successful class teacher. Now as a fourth Year Student Teacher, having completed
the 5 day basic CL training and having just completed my last placement in the classroom,
I feel that the Structures have allowed me to engage far more students (high and
low). They have helped me to manage ongoing assessment for learning, to differentiate
successfully, to incorporate multiple intelligences and learning styles and all
without extra preparation time over and above what other students are spending in
more traditional settings. I know that I will be using this approach my entire teaching
career! This is the best stuff around!!”
Michael Bancroft , BA(Hons) Trainee Primary Teacher , MMU

“Interactive and engaging, offering a variety of new topics I had little or no prior
experience/knowledge of from Uni. A very enjoyable 2½ days of great use to a student
teacher. I have gained a valuable experience that if utilised effectively can give
me a headstart in my teaching career.”
